This page will provide detailed information on the projects, explained below, focusing on the

By combining these initiatives explained below into a comprehensive plan, we can create a more sustainable and interconnected future for the people of the desert and beyond.

Bedouin-Inspired Sustainability Projects

Introduction:

With a sense of purpose and confidence, I am honored to present a plan that aims to revitalize the desert and complement Masdar City with a core sustainable initiative.

In my 24-year quest for the best lifestyle that is both people and planet-friendly, I have sought to address the question: what is the ideal human lifestyle that nurtures our connection to nature?

Today, I am  to present a plan that aims to revitalize the desert and complement Masdar City with a core sustainable initiative that honors the native roots of the United Arab Emirates - the Bedouin culture.

I share below a YouTube video, showcasing a Bedouin family setting up their desert home.

Their connection to the desert, the sense of calmness, and the spirit of essentialism and togetherness is truly moving and resonates deeply within us.

I believe that these projects will find both soil and soul to call home.

The main goals of these combined projects are:

1. Greening the desert in a sustainable manner, creating food forests that attract life and provide nourishment for people, animals, and the land.

   - Project Name: The Date Fruit Project

2. Establishing a sustainable Bedouin-inspired center with a café and various functions in the desert en route to Masdar City, offering easy access and ample parking space.

   - Project Name: The Palm Oasis Café and Centre

3. Contributing to the well-being of those at offices who make things happen and are often disconnected from nature, spending long hours at their desks, leaving them drained, stiff, and aching.

While these projects are presented as separate enterprises for clarity, they are designed to be combined into a complete structure

1. The Date Fruit Project:

Focuses on the core Bedouin elements mentioned above and serves to green the desert while complementing the other two projects. Dates are the binding component between heritage and todays reforestation and cuisine. By creating a cycle between using lots of dates in the Palm Oasis cafe

2. The Palm Oasis Café & Centre:

A Bedouin-inspired hub in the desert, located close to Masdar City with easy access and parking. This center will bring together multiple functions and problem-solving initiatives, including Warka water towers, which create water in desert areas.

Services of the Palm Oasis Café & Centre:

A. Supportive packages for office workers with morning, lunch, and/or unwinding sessions. These packages include exercises, yoga, and mindfulness activities combined with drinks and food.

B. Palm Oasis Menu: Raw vegan delights, including date platters, smoothies, lemonades, milkshakes, cheesecakes, energy truffles, brownies, chocolates, nice creams, hummus variations, sun-dried vegetable crackers, and more.

D. Mocktail bar: A menu of amazing, delicious, and healthy drinks.

E. Date fruits will be featured in many dishes (cheesecakes, brownies, smoothies, date platters, milkshakes, truffles), highlighting their versatility. Date seeds will be sprouted, planted in pots, and later around the oasis, or sold to offices as relation gifts or for private use.

F. The center will also host: celebrations, VIP, and business meetings, weddings, and events.

G. Speaker events covering sustainable solutions, personal development, and mindfulness.

H. Shop with gift packages centered around dates: platters, palm-growing kits, palm trees, bags, fans made from date tree fibers.

I. A shop featuring products made by Bedouin artisans, including tents and camels, sold via the center.

J. Holistic Oasis Office > Oasis

Project Name: Desert Haven - A Sustainable Oasis for Businesses

The Holistic Oasis Office project offers two main options for companies in Masdar City and the UAE to adopt a piece of the desert, transforming it into a sustainable, multipurpose space:

Option 1: Fully-equipped Oasis Camp

In this option, we will set up a complete camp, including a Barca, Warka water tower, palm trees, and a kitchen. An on-site assistant will be available to prepare coffees, beverages, and other refreshments for your team. Your employees can work, relax, or host gatherings in this self-contained oasis.

Option 2: Oasis Camp near the Palm Oasis Center

Alternatively, we can establish your company's Oasis Camp near the Palm Oasis Café & Centre. This option allows your employees to enjoy easy access to the café's drinks, foods, and services while utilizing the dedicated space for work, relaxation, and events.

Both options will foster a connection with nature, promote sustainability, and support work-life balance for businesses in the UAE.

By combining these projects, we can create a unique and impactful initiative that honors the Bedouin heritage and fosters a sustainable, interconnected future for the people of Abu Dhabi and beyond.

Thank you for considering these ideas and your unwavering commitment to sustainability. I look forward to the possibility of collaborating with you to make these projects a reality.
